Wilderer Stuben in Bodenmais

We were in the neighborhood in a vacation home! Picked us up for dinner every evening. Everything was really delicious. We would love to come back.

Very nice, family-run hotel. The food is very tasty and an extensive buffet for breakfast.

We have been visiting the poacher's parlor in Bodenmais again and again for decades. Food and service very good. Hence 5 stars.

Were there several times for dinner. Consistently good quality, that means delicious, local cuisine. Not a surprise, but definitely not a disappointment! With us, the service was very friendly and quick. The AHA rules are strictly observed and clearly indicated. Why not. Two points of criticism have been mentioned several times and are correct: very little carbon dioxide in the drinks (but I think it's good) and the many signs at the entrance. Are m. E. superfluous and look like a tourist trap. Is unnecessary! But that has no effect on the food. Because that also works without advertising.

We went to the Poacher for dinner today. It took a while to get a seat, but otherwise everything was friendly and the service was fast. The menu is small, but there is something for everyone. The food came quite quickly and was tasty. Well-made solid home-style cuisine. Price-performance ratio absolutely appropriate.

This rating relates to the restoration. I've eaten there a couple of times and recommend everything. Hand-cooked sauces and beautifully tender meat are top quality here. The service is consistently friendly and courteous. Full points; five stars.

After our hiking tour we wanted to have something sweet to eat in the evening and since most of the ice cream cafés here in town were already closed at 7 p.m., we decided to go to the Wilderer Stuben. Unfortunately, the man who served us was very rude and annoyed by little things (rolled his eyes, exhaled loudly, slapped the menu on the table). In addition, the ice cream was inedible. Stracciatella tasted powdery afterwards, strawberry also didn't have the typical taste as we usually know it and the wafer rolls were soft. It's a shame. The restaurant is not recommended.

Very friendly service. Inside a very nice, rustic restaurant. Clean toilets. We sat around the beer garden. It was busy, but the food came quickly. Good lunch menu. We would love to come back.

I give it 5 stars because we were ultimately very satisfied with our short stay in the hotel and in the restaurant. Check-in was a bit complicated at first. The young lady who served dinner made up for the bad-tempered waiter from the afternoon. The staff is very busy at meals ... The rooms were okay, cleanliness was very good, the furnishings are not the latest but appropriate. Very good management of the Corona rules for breakfast. There are enough parking spaces behind the hotel. You are very flexible with regard to the wishes of the guests.

The waiter was not friendly the waitress the next day was really very friendly. The prices are almost ok. In terms of taste, however, not a hit. Everything was very tasteless and the drinks were non-carbonated. We were a bit disappointed. Would rather recommend another eatery.

Cozy inn in the heart of Bodenmais. Large menu with many very recommendable Bavarian dishes. Friendly staff. Cozy beer garden on the street. Highly recommended.

I had the robber roast with mushroom cream sauce and it tasted really good like fresh mushrooms. Everything else was very tasty. The service was very friendly. Five stars

We were in the restaurant yesterday and wanted to drink a beer and a cyclist. What we got was stale non-carbonated drinks. We did not drink this, but we had to pay it in full despite the complaint.

Very nice and clean restaurant, great Bavarian atmosphere. The staff friendly and attentive. The selection of food and drinks is rich and there is something for every taste, at reasonable prices. Although many guests were present, we quickly got our delicious, freshly prepared food.

Always my pleasure. Food tastes good, people are nice and usually you do not have to wait too long. The menu has a lot to offer, mainly Bavarian / Bohemian. By the way: you can stay here also excellent! The price / performance ratio fits.
